  • Should my walls be primed?

    Yes, it is preferred but only required on freshly mudded or patched walls. If a dark colored paper is being hung it is best for walls to be a dark color. It is best for walls to be white if a light color paper is being hung.
  • Do you hang peel & stick wallpaper?

    No.
  • Can you hang new paper over existing paper?

    It can be done but not a preferred method as it can show the old wallpaper seams and imperfections.
  • Do you prep walls for the wallpaper installation?

    We will perform minor wall repairs such as filling nail holes, but major wall repair must be completed prior to our installation. Before we install your wallpaper we will paint a professional grade wall sizing on the walls to better help the wallpaper paste to bond to the walls.
  • Do you hang 54” vinyl (commercial grade)?

    No, we will hang residential grade vinyl. (usually comes 27” wide)
  • Does Pleasant Papering sell wallpaper?

    No, unfortunately we do not.
